Protect the Privacy of Your Searches
QueryDial can only respond to URL changes and as such can only redirect your request rather than stop your previous request and then initiate a new request. This means even if your override your default search engine with QueryDial, when you use Safari’s search bar to search it will always send the content your search to the default search engine first, then redirect to the first fallback search engine.
If you wish, you can set Safari’s default search engine to a more privacy-friendly one (e.g. DuckDuckGo), so your search results won’t be tracked by your default search engine supplier before QueryDial redirects for you.
