Use the Popup
While you are using Safari, you can use QueryDial’s toolbar popup button to start a search. Think it as an alternative “search bar” for Safari. By default, when you are connecting to a physical keyboard, press command-shift-F will call out QueryDial’s popup window in Safari. Simply type what you wish to search in the popup’s search bar, then press enter/return key to search on the selected search engine.
QueryDial will automatically suggest the search engines to use when you have a search engine shortcut in your query.
Search in a New Tab
By default, press the enter/return key will perform searches in the current active tab, press enter/return + command key will perform searches in a new tab. You can invert the behavior in the in-app settings under the “Popup” section.
